Rustler is an open-world, top-down action game that pays homage to the good old GTA style and combines it with a historically inaccurate medieval setting. Play as The Guy, whose parents were too lazy to give him a real name. Experience feudal injustice, the Inquisition, a witch hunt, and join the Grand Tournament. Meet brave but incredibly stupid knights. Complete a wide range of twisted missions and quests or ignore the story and wreak havoc in nearby villages and towns. Choose to travel on foot or a stolen horse. Fight with a sword or choose a fancy automatic crossbow. All this, seasoned with an inappropriate sense of humor inspired by Monty Python.
Be a bold, bald thug in a medieval sandbox.
The world of Rustler is filled with humor, anachronisms, and pop culture references. Have you ever been towed for parking "NO HORSE PARKING"? Want to cage fight in the Medieval Martial Arts Arena? Or perhaps you fancy sprucing up and slightly tuning your horse? How about joining the Bulletmen cult?
Wreak havoc in retro combat with a top-down view.
Use swords, spears, dung, and crossbows. Want to increase your effectiveness? Try holy hand grenades or... horses. Nothing is more deadly than hooves galloping towards you. Or drifting your wagon.
Dismount everyone to take over half the kingdom.
As a poor simpleton, you'll need to be incredibly creative to win the Grand Tournament. Form bizarre alliances, outsmart your enemies, and dig up dinosaur skeletons in a light, easy-to-understand, yet challenging story.
Hire bards whose music will heal your wounds.
A bard can become your personal sweaty radio. Not only will he stay by your side even during the bloodiest conflicts, but he'll also adjust the dynamics of his songs to the current action. What's more, you can change the melody with a simple slap to the face.

Shoot cows into the air, disguise yourself as a guard or even Death himself, burn piles of weed, draw fancy shapes in the field with a plow, survive a ruthless guard attack after slaughtering half the town... And these are just a few of the many crazy things you can do in Rustler.
