Administratively, it is located within the Maksimir district. It is one of the more elite residential areas in Zagreb. Due to its proximity to the slopes of Medvednica, greenery and gentle slope, it is often described as a quiet residential area surrounded by nature with urban amenities.
Nearby are: restaurant, pizzeria, cafe, Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Philosophy and Religious Sciences, theater, kindergarten, shop, church.
There are good connections to other parts of Zagreb.
