The HP 4120 IP Phone Series is optimized for use with Microsoft® Lync™ Unified Communications, and can support Office 365, Microsoft's familiar Office desktop suite combined with the latest, cloud-based versions of Microsoft's next-generation communications and collaboration services. All Lync-optimized IP phone features are supported by the HP 4120 IP Phone Series, including Microsoft's "Better Together" mode, which leverages Lync's powerful collaboration capabilities. POWER SUPPLY: Phone uses PoE (IEEE 802.3af Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) Class 2 ) (power via an Ethernet cable) if available in network.If not,you will have to provide phone with PSU unit 5V (1,5A minimum -3A is better).Polarity: Core pin + inside.
Original HP part is HP 5V external power supply 15W , J9767A but any universal PSU unit with exactly these values (not 4,5V or 6V) will do! This is tested and verified!
48V external supply, as used by other IP phone vendors, will permanently disable this phone!!!
