Opis oglasa
Dr. Dragan Damjanović tells the story of how history and its changes have influenced the city's architecture in a book of 253 cards accompanied by numerous illustrations of Zagreb's most famous and valuable architectural solutions. Starting from the first mention of Zagreb in the 11th century to our days, Damjanović analyzes through time and styles all those buildings that formed the future city unit from two separate settlements, Gradec and Kaptol. He follows its conception, reconstructions, renovations and modifications, in order not to fill in the blocks and create the whole of the city as we see it today. It is interesting that in his book he does not stop in time in order to leave modern and present Zagreb to some near or distant future, but follows the work of architects up to our time. Analyzing individual buildings and the personalities of the architects, he also talks about how the situation in relation to domestic forces has changed throughout history. Numerous buildings from the time of the Triple Monarchy were entrusted to Hungarian and Austrian architects - they witnessed a kind of economic and official purpose of the building. Domestic architects (who had been educated for a long time at foreign universities) first gained the trust of only a few private individuals, and later in the new state, starting in 1918, they were the authors of most important architectural solutions in the state.Dragan Damjanović was born on October 31, 1978 in Osijek. In 2002, he completed a two-subject study of history of art and history at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Zagreb. Published four books (Saborna church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Plaško: the history of the episcopal complex, Serbian cultural society Prosvjeta, Zagreb, 2005; Vukovar architect Fran Funtak, Leykam international, Zagreb, 2009, Matica hrvatska, Zagreb, 2009; Parish church of the Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary and sacred heritage of Molva parish, and about fifty scientific articles.Stranica: 432Dimenzije: 16 X 24,5Jezik: ZAGREBPismo: LatinicaStanje: Nova knjigaUvez: MekiGodina: 2016
