The receiver is ready to pass through 4K Ultra HD video signals to a compatible display, meaning it can support home cinema systems dedicated to producing the highest quality picture available today.

Additionally, it includes easy-to-operate worldwide internet radio and network streaming via DLNA or Apple AirPlay when you connect via LAN (adapter for wireless LAN available). Enjoy high-resolution music file playback such as WAV, FLAC, AIFF and Apple Lossless via LAN or USB. WAV, FLAC and AIFF files in resolutions up to 192kHz/24-bit are supported. Entertain in multiple rooms, with a powered zone 2 audio output, the VSX-923 allows you to watch your favourite movie while someone else listens to music in another.

Via the built-in ECO Mode you can save energy without compromising on sound and video performance. Compatible (free) smartphone/tablet apps include the advanced remote control app iControlAV.
