The NuPrime CDT-10 includes a selectable sampling rate converter (SRC) that can upsample the CD format (44.1kHz) to higher rates.

Note that the I2S output is optimized for connecting with other NuPrime products and may not be compatible with all non-NuPrime devices. 

Design and Features

Jitter Reduction: The unit employs a powerful ARM chip for error correction and a Philips SAA7824HL laser/decode chip, with an algorithm that significantly reduces digital interference and jitter.

Vibration Control: The chassis design has high structural rigidity and the transport mechanism is isolated and sandwiched with aluminum plates to minimize mechanical vibration.

Power Circuitry: It features an enhanced AC noise filter (inherited from the NuPrime Evolution DAC) and a custom R-type transformer with shielding for a very low noise floor.

Single Speed Transport: The transport runs at a single speed to further minimize vibration and potential errors from unbalanced discs.
