3603 600/600 Input/Output Transformer

General purpose. For isolating and balancing a low impedance input or output. High performance Sowter generic transformer similar to Triad HS-56 (in overall 1:1 configuration) Suitable for Pulteq EQP-1A line input. Suitable for balancing and/or isolating the output of a CD player or sound card. Total dc resistance 160 ohms Max level +17dBu (5V).

APPLICATION
Electrical isolation where the source is a low impedance. Creates a floating output from an unbalanced or balanced source which can be loaded balanced or unbalanced. For virtual elimination of most kinds of noise caused when equipments are connected. For helping to ensure Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) standards compliance. May be used for balanced to unbalanced conversion and vice versa. An ideal transformer for balancing the output of a pre-amplifier to enable it to drive a balanced line. The pre amp should have an output impedance up to 600 Ohms. The load can be any value equal or greater than 600 Ohms. See application circuit below. Can also be used as an input transformer for inputs with an impedance of up to 1200 Ohms.
