Tamara Mikler, born in 1984 in Osijek, Croatia, is a visual artist working primarily in realistic and hyperrealistic forms, with a strong focus on animal and human portraiture. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the Academy of Applied Arts, exploring sculpture, installation, painting, and photography before dedicating herself to detailed acrylic and mixed media works. Her art is known for its vivid color, emotional depth, and the ability to reveal the inner character of each subject. Through meticulous attention to detail, she portrays every line, wrinkle, and expression as a reflection of lived experience, inviting viewers to connect with the hidden stories within each being.
