Early life and education
Nikola Majnaric - Bac was born in Varazdin in the family of Dr. Nikola Majnaric, an orthopedist at the Varazdin Hospital and Tatjana Majnaric, a piano teacher at the Varazdin School of Music. He attended elementary school "Ivo Lola Ribar" in Varaždin. I finished elementary music school in Varazdin, direction of trumpets.

In high school, she enrolled in the Varaždin Grammar School, a cultural major. In 1993 he enrolled at the Faculty of Textile Technology, University of Zagreb, majoring in design for textiles and clothing. He graduated with a bachelor's degree, and his graduation thesis was "Costume Design for Boccacci's Decameron." He spent his childhood in Varaždin, and in the summer he went with his family to the island of Rivanj near Zadar and to Slovenia in Dobrna.

He spent 1986 with his father for three months in North America. He toured the Greyhound bus: Detroit, Niagara Falls, Ann Arbor, Chicago, Los Angeles, Hollywood, Flagstaff, Gallup, Cherryville, Washington D.C. and New York. He spent that time with writer, ecologist and photographer Anne LaBastille.

career

One of Bac's distinctive drawings, which proves his demonic expressive and rudimentary fit perfectly into the genre, features the cover album "Out to son" of the Varazdin garage of the rock band "Evokers" from 2014.
He had his first solo exhibition of author's works (imaginary-figurative-expressionist style) at the School of Mining in Varaždin. Between 1989 and 1993, the radio program for the theatrical drama group "Theatron", which participated in the stage scenes for the play "The Doors," also worked.

For peer education, there were several group exhibitions in Zagreb, Rijeka, Pula and Vinkovci on faculty works. At the same time he had a handful of publications - drawings in the popular Croatian press, in the Varaždin News, and in fanzines; "Endem", "Gaspacho", "Graah", "Variete Radicals", "Striptease", "4 Walls and Speaker" and "Catacombs".

He occasionally dabbled and painted silks and knits with his own author motifs. He had two group exhibitions in Varaždin, a facility in the Zvonimir Rogoz bistro in the VNC of Varaždin. The first exhibition, with Dušan Gačić and K.D. The judge was announced on the occasion of the release of the first tapes of "The Good Spirits", and the second exhibition was set up during the promotion of the first issue of the strip fanzine "StripTiz".

A solo exhibition of paintings was at the bistro gallery - Trenk and the Sermage Palace Gallery in Varaždin. Within the framework of the Art & Music Festival in 1994, in Pula, he was one of 15 participants in the comic book colony, and a student of the famous comic book artist, Kresimir Zimonic.

He performed on "Rock PrVZioni" on the stage of "Zvonimir Rogoz" in Varazdin's Croatian National Theater, performing a performance called "If You Pack Who Stuck On The Law ...". He performed at the EX club; "Kera, Prostee and Butch." For the fan of "Gaspaccio" he wrote short stories and illustrated the title fanzine. He produced a CD for the Amsterdam group "Gone Bald" when they appear in Varazdin.

He had no role models, but he loved Robert Crumb and Bernett & Abuli. Nikola Majnaric - Bac left behind over 1000 paintings, comics and drawings.

Prizes and awards
He received the award in Vinkovci for innovation in comics on July 17, 1997 at the Comics Show.
Zarez magazine is a duo for cultural and social collections, issue 363-64 of July 18, 2013, after which the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia dedicated a memorial to Nikola Majnarić - Bač.
