The JZ Microphones Black Hole BH2 is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone known for its distinctive "hole" design and a fixed cardioid polar pattern. It uses a single true electrostatic Golden Drop Capsule (GDC1) and Class A discrete electronics to deliver a transparent, neutral sound with exceptionally low self-noise.

Golden Drop Technology: A special alloy coating on the diaphragm makes it lighter, allowing for faster transient response and improved clarity with less coloration.
Neutral Frequency Response: The BH2 features a relatively flat response with a very subtle "smile" characteristic—slight lifts at 50–90Hz and a gentle presence peak between 2–6kHz.
Unique Mounting: It includes an innovative shock mount that attaches directly through the central hole of the microphone body, making it easier to position in tight spaces.
No Integrated Filters: Unlike the BH1S model, the BH2 does not feature a pad or high-pass filter switch.
