Advanced call features and voice codec support
With the plug-and-play design, ZyXEL's VoIP Gateway Series encourages users to install the unit by themselves to help service providers saving installation costs. By simply plugging the Ethernet cable into the VoIP gateway and connecting it to a regular phone, users can easily take advantage of subscribed VoIP services such as caller ID, call waiting, call holding/resuming, call transferring, call forwarding and 3-way conference, among others. In addition, ZyXEL's VoIP gateway provides supports to various voice codecs such as G.711, G.723, G.726 and G.729 to ensure audio transmission quality.

Remote management through auto-provisioning
Auto-provisioning allows the Service Providers/Telcos to employ remote management for efficient trouble-shooting accessibility and to reduce system setup costs. Without a huge equipment investment, operators can utilize HTTP, FTP or TFTP to centralize online configuration for the VoIP gateway deployment.

Integrated routing function for simultaneous voice and data communication
In addition to rich supports for VoIP services, the ZyXEL VoIP Gateway Series also offers an integrated routing function. Therefore, voice and data can be transmitted in parallel to sustain stable voice communications.

SIP server customization and soft switch compatibility
