These early 1940s production valves, typically American like the 310A and 328A and their equivalents, are fantastic and professional pentodes designed almost exclusively by WESTERN ELECTRIC (subsequently also by other brands in the USA), while in Europe there were RARE German productions (VALVO), particularly the 328A. Pentodes of extremely high quality, construction and performance, intended primarily for use in audio amplification but also in radio frequency, oscillators or modulators. On the top is the suppression grid which makes this excellent pentode more flexible in its applications. In audio they are perfect as "drivers" with extreme linearity. The 328A and the 310A are practically the same valve with different base and filament voltage.
