As well-known the adaption of a moving-coil pick-up cartride with an input transformer as a pre-preamplifier guarantees an optimum in technical quality and sound performance. Transformers are an improvement in sound quality, because they avoid the noise of the activ pre-preamplifier.
All systems like EMT TSD (15) SFL SPH vdH Gyger / TSD 12 / XSD 15 / XMD 25 / XND 65 / TMD 25 / TMD 15 / TND 65 / TND 80 / TND 90 / TND 100 / TND 120 / HSD 6 / JSD 6 / JSD 5 / HSD 006 as well as all on EMT TSD 15 based pick-up cartridges from Roksan or Thorens find the best possible adaptation condition through ORIGINAL EMT input transformer.
This is achieved by the use of the same 1:10 input transformer, which has already proven itself several thousand times in the professional sector in the equalizer amplifier EMT 155 (st) and EMT 153 st of the record players EMT 930 and EMT 927 as well as in the HiFi-sector in the input transformer box EMT STX 20.
This correct adaptation ensures optimal exploitation of the technical and sound data of a moving coil pickup.
