Trickstuff Direttissima - kočnice

The Trickstuff Direttissima disc brake impresses with stability, defined pressure point and fine dosing. Four pistons on the C42 brake caliper provide plenty of braking power. For ergonomics, the lever width features a wide adjustment range. The brake does its job reliably even with heavier system weights, e.g. on Enduro, DH or e-bikes, and is characterised by excellent heat management. This results from the use of particularly temperature-stable Bionol, which incidentally does not cause any problems even down to -15 °C, stainless steel pistons and insulating POWER+ brake pads.

The clear pressure point is created by the finely tuned gear ratio from the lever to the brake and supports intuitive operation. Trickstuff optimise the metering capability by consistently reducing friction in the system: practically frictionless roller bearings, PU seals at contact points, Kevlar-sheathed high-pressure hoses and a lever with 4x bearings make their contribution here.

The Direttissima has a progressive braking force characteristic, which means that the harder you pull on the lever, the harder the brakes are applied. The feeling that you have to pull harder and harder on long descents to get the same braking power is a thing of the past.

Speaking of the lever: it is designed in such a way that no surface structure irritates you when braking and your finger can slide along when you pull the lever closer. This way you don't have to turn your hand, but can keep a full grip on the handlebars. The two-piece milling clamp compensates for minimal deviations in handlebar circumference.

The brake set consists of parts for both the front and rear wheel.
