The re-designed XR-Series from Glidecam Industries brings versatility and affordability to the world of camera stabilization. The lightweight, state-of-the-art handheld stabilizers isolate the movements of your hand to create professional looking shots without camera shake. Now you can pan, tilt, boom or run and still get incredibly smooth and graceful shots, even when going to extremes. When it comes to normal shooting, like walking or moving slowly around, the results are equally magical.
Each XR-series stabilizer has an offset, foam cushioned, handle grip attached to a free floating, three-axis gimbal which incorporates several adjustable, axis convergence controls. All three axes can intersect for proper operational alignment. Coupled with an overall higher inertia, the XR-Series stabilizer produces superior stabilization when compared to competitive systems.
The camera mounting platform can be moved back-and-forth and side-to-side to reach the perfect horizontal balance. By adding more or less counter weight discs and by changing the length of the telescoping central post, you can adjust the camera's vertical balance.
When balanced properly, the XR-Series stabilizer will deliver beautiful results, shot after shot. Your camera will seem to float. The XR-2000 is designed to handle compact and DSLR cameras weighing from 2 to 6 lbs (0.9-2.7 kg). Each unit is made in the USA from high-grade Aluminum.
