Each photo is evaluated by Professor Mirror using a one-to-four-star system, based on how rare or interesting the Pokémon's behavior is. These photos help fill out your Pokémon Photodex, a visual catalog of your discoveries.
To capture the best shots, you can use a variety of tools:

Fluffruit: a tasty snack to lure Pokémon.

Melody player: plays tunes that may cause certain Pokémon to dance or react.

Illumina orbs: special items that make Pokémon glow and sometimes behave differently.

After each expedition, use the Re-Snap feature to edit your photos—adjust zoom, brightness, blur, or add filters, frames, and stickers.
