You can access the Ortovox Freerider 16 main compartment through the back as well as the front, meaning wearers will always be able to easily access the bag's contents, wherever they are.
The inside of the backpack boasts separate waterproof compartments for safety equipment, electronic devises, a goggle case and compatible hydration systems with back access to the backpack's main carriage so everything has a rightful place.
The Ortovox Freerider 16 is ideal for those looking for something light weight to take off piste skiing. In terms of light weight avalanche safety equipment, we recommend Ortovox Badger Shovel as well as the Pieps Probe Carbon Tour 220.

This backpack is built to incorporate a TÜV certified back protector system into its design, to reduce extra bulk and keep the wearer protected, whatever speed they are travelling at
The pack comprises of five superimposed layers of foam which harden on impact to absorb the force of a fall or collision.
With a neoprene hip belt, the FREERIDER 16 is a close fitting and unobtrusive pack which hugs the body, ideal for fast sports.
In recognition of the climbing elements of much modern freeriding, Ortovox have provided fasteners for skis, snowboards and a helmet, and loops for picks and other gear.
