Energy Point 1e compact speaker experience report / test:
About 2 years ago I visited my favorite flea market again to look out for hi-fi rarities. With great hope I expected "our" favorite seller who had great things from time to time. And how should it be otherwise. In his Sprinter was a beautiful Nikko complete system consisting of a tuner, preamplifier and power amplifier. Unfortunately, as so often, I couldn't get the system because someone else came before me. The good thing about the story is that the buyer was not interested in the enclosed Engery Point 1e. When I held a 1e in my hand I thought: "they can't be bad". Because the touch quality and the built-in chassis really made a good impression. The case also withstood the famous knock test.

At home, I tried my favorite search engine and was also from then on. The Energy Point 1e was dealt with in the HiFi forum and an expert provided the information that the Engerys were tested in stereo on June 6, 1992. When I was collecting my magazines, the issue must have been there, my reminder spoke to me. And indeed, the Point 1e made it into stereo under the HIGH END heading. That should really mean something. But I have to admit that until 3 weeks ago I used the little magic trumpets as a television sound system and was not interested in really testing them. What should come out of such dwarfs if no subwoofer is connected? And as already described, I was taught better!

As a reinforcement, I used a power dispenser like no other lower-end amplifier combination from Kenwood Model L1000M + L1000C. I the stereo stands among other things that the development of the tweeters were subsidized by the Canadian government. Could therefore a fabulous price of 550 DM be announced? Is there a certain Robin hood mentality in it? I don't care, I'm glad I got to know Energy Point 1e. Such small speakers with so much sound, volume, of course, space, you get today but certainly at what price?
